USA Today calls Living Forest "one of the top 2 places to camp in BC." An ideal sanctuary for Canada's Snowbirds.
The Living Forest features miles of walking on serene trails, biking, paddling, swimming in the spectacular Nanaimo River, birding, basketball, bocce, games room, beach volleyball, and group gathering areas.
Perfect for Canadian snowbirds to spend the winters in a warmer oceanside environment, Living Forest RV Park and campground is the ideal location to be surrounded by the beauty of Vancouver Island. Nanaimo and it's surrounding area has a population of more than 100,000. The park is nestled in the perfect spot on Nanaimo's southern edge overlooking the harbour. A short 5 minute walk to shopping and transit buses, an 8 minute drive to Nanaimo's city centre, and a 12 minute drive to BC ferries. While you're staying at Living Forest, you're fully immersed in the natural world, away from everything, yet close to all of the conveniences you enjoy at home.
The RV park includes 50 amp, pull-thru sites, oceanside, ocean-view, forested, riverside, full service, partial and non-serviced campsites, 'nose in first' sites for motorhomes to take advantage of the view, sunny and shady sites too. Wifi is available. This is a large, stunning property with plenty to do throughout the year. Stays are limited to a maximum of 8-months per year. Monthly rates vary depending on services and time of year - $600 to $1540 plus gst.
